How it started.

For much of my life, I followed paths that made sense on paper. I worked different jobs, built careers, supported my family, and did what I believed I was supposed to do. Yet, there was always a feeling that something was missing, as if I was capable of more but hadn't quite found where I belonged.

My journey toward becoming a therapist didn't begin in a classroom. It began when I sat on the other side of the couch as a client. Working with an amazing Associate Therapist gave me the space to better understand myself, challenge old beliefs, and start healing parts of my story that I had carried for years. Along that journey, I experienced what I often call my "aha moment"—that instant when everything clicks, like the light bulb turning on above a cartoon character's head. For the first time, I understood that growth wasn't about becoming someone different. It was about becoming more fully myself.

As a Mexican American husband, father, and therapist, I understand how culture, family, expectations, and life experiences shape the way we move through the world. I also know how difficult it can be to ask for help, especially when you've spent years believing you should handle everything on your own.

Today, I help individuals, couples, and families navigate life's challenges with greater clarity, connection, and confidence. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in the belief that meaningful change happens when people feel seen, understood, and supported. Therapy isn't about fixing what's broken, it's about creating space to better understand yourself, strengthen relationships, and move toward the life you want to build.

It is a privilege to walk alongside people during some of their most important moments, and I look forward to supporting you on your journey.

My Approach

My approach is direct, warm, and practical. I don't believe in therapy that keeps you comfortable and stuck. I believe in therapy that actually moves you forward

Sessions are a space where you can be honest without judgment. We work on what's real, not just what's easy to talk about.

I have a particular passion for working with men navigating identity, relationships, and emotional growth. That said, Legacy Family Counseling Group is a space built for anyone ready to do meaningful work.

You Don't Have to Carry the Past Alone.
